YOUR GARAGE. YOUR CHOICE.

Your data
stays your call.

Spoke is a private cycling-care pilot hosted by Big Helpers at spoke.bighelpers.in. This notice describes version 0.6.0, updated 11 September 2026. Contact spoke@bighelpers.in for pilot support or a data question.

What the pilot keeps

Your phone stores the bikes, parts, photos, rides, maintenance and prices you choose to enter or import. Creating an account uses your email address and email confirmation codes. If you choose backup, a private copy of your garage is sent to the pilot server, linked to your account. The service processes connection and security information needed to operate sign-in and protect accounts.

What you choose to share

The pilot has no public feed. Share cards and exported files leave the app only when you choose a destination. Imports should contain your own independently supplied data. Automatic Strava connections, community features and external AI analysis are still being developed.

Recovery copies and retention

The active server keeps your latest garage backup while your account is open. On the phone, the app keeps up to 20 recovery copies for 30 days and temporary exports for 24 hours. Files you deliberately save elsewhere remain there until you remove them.

The server makes encrypted recovery snapshots daily in a separate folder on the existing Google Drive backup account. Successful daily cleanup keeps snapshots for 35 days. Those isolated snapshots may contain data removed from the active service during that period. They are used for recovery, rather than ordinary app access. Backend service logs rotate with a cap of 30 MB per service; the private mail relay is capped at 4 MB. The host also keeps its existing web and security logs.

Delete your account

Open Account in the app, or use the account-controls page, verify your email and make the separate final deletion choice. This removes your account and garage backup from the active service. Other device copies and files you exported remain under your control. An encrypted recovery snapshot may retain the previous data until its retention period ends.

A random deletion-completion proof lets you resolve an interrupted response. The server stores only its hash and timestamps, with no account ID, email or garage in that receipt. The proof expires after 30 days, and hourly cleanup removes expired hashes.

Your riding community can be anywhere

This is a global product pilot. You choose distance units and currency. The current private service uses the owner’s server, an existing email service and encrypted backup storage; account data may be processed across the countries where those services operate. The pilot does not sell your garage data or use it for advertising.

Before you ride

Maintenance dates and usage counters support your care routine. They do not certify a component’s condition or replace physical inspection, a mechanic’s judgment or the manufacturer’s instructions. Photo and audio diagnosis is not part of this pilot.
